Johannes Möller
The Swedish guitarist Johannes Möller (born 1981) is one of the most active guitarists of his generation. He played his first public concert when he was 13 years old. Since then he has found time for more than 250 appearances in Albania, Austria, Canada, England, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the USA.

His Swedish teachers were Roland Fridh and Bo Hansson. Abroad he has earned a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the renowned Royal College of Music in London where he studied with Gary Ryan
and Carlos Bonell.

Johannes has received several scholarships from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music and is the youngest guitarist to reach the maximum level of audition based grants from this Academy. He has won prizes in international competitions in England (2), Germany (3), Romania and Portugal, including a first prize in the international guitar competition in Gevelsberg in 2001 and the first prize in The Bromsgrove Festival International Young Musicians Platform in May, 2005.

Before his solo CD he has recorded four CDs together with his father, the flautist Mats Möller. On the third (SFZ 1007) they perform contemporary works by Edison Denisov, Roberto Sierra and others, and on the fourth (SFZ 1009) music by Mauro Giuliani and Franz Schubert.
